Indosuez Wealth Management appoints CEO for Asia

Indosuez Wealth Management, the wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group, has announced the appointment of Laurent Proutière as chief executive officer ( CEO ) Asia and Singapore Branch Manager, effective 1 March 2025 - subject to regulatory approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore ( MAS ).

Based in Singapore, Laurent will drive the firm’s strategic growth and development strategy across Asia, further reinforcing the bank’s presence in the region. He will report to Isabelle Jacob-Nebout, Head of Wealth Management, CA Indosuez ( Switzerland ) SA, and succeeds Omar Shokur who will pursue professional opportunities outside of the Crédit Agricole Group after more than two decades with the Group.

Isabelle Jacob-Nebout said, “We are delighted to welcome Laurent into this role. Laurent brings close to 30 years of experience in financial services including the past two decades at Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, predominantly in Asia. He has a deep understanding of the dynamic region and is well-positioned to continue building on Indosuez’s growth in these key markets. We are confident that his leadership will further solidify our position as a trusted partner to our clients in Asia.”

Proutière’s extensive experience in the rapidly growing financial markets of Asia including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan reflects Indosuez’s continued focus on strengthening its presence in Asia and delivering exceptional, tailored wealth management solutions to their clients.
