Keppel REIT Management, the manager of Keppel REIT, is set to appoint Chua Hsien Yang (蔡显扬), 47, as chief executive officer with effect from January 1 2025, subject to regulatory approval. Chua will succeed Koh Wee Lih (郭纬立), who will step down as CEO on December 31 and assume a new role as managing director, business development, at Keppel.
Chua, who joined Keppel in 2008, has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate fund management and hospitality industries, including in mergers and acquisitions, real estate investments, business development and asset management globally.
He is currently managing director and head of mergers and acquisitions at Keppel, a role he has held since February 2021. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Keppel DC REIT Management, from the listing of Keppel DC REIT in 2014 until 2021. Before that, Chua was senior vice-president at Keppel REIT Management, where he headed the investment team.
Chua holds a bachelor of engineering (civil) from the University of Canterbury and a master of business administration from the University of Western Australia.
